Within the WCR, QualiTec GmbH of the Aachen Chamber of Crafts …

… provides consulting services to SMEs on all issues and aspects related to the recruitment, integration, and retention of foreign skilled workers. In doing so, it makes a significant contribution to structural change in the region by helping to address the shortage of skilled workers through successful labor migration.

About QualiTec GmbH of the Aachen Chamber of Crafts

QualiTec gGmbH of the Aachen Chamber of Crafts is a wholly owned, non-profit subsidiary of the Aachen Chamber of Crafts. QualiTec gGmbH is the continuing education provider for the skilled trades; it serves as a catalyst for the development and delivery of new training and certification programs, as well as innovative projects aimed at advancing the skilled trades sector.

With its 60 employees, QualiTec supports the Chamber of Crafts’ statutory duties and develops content for, among other things, in-company training and continuing education, which aims, among other objectives, to strengthen the competitiveness of SMEs in the skilled trades.

QualiTec’s staff are generally master craftsmen and women in all skilled trades with a wide range of specific additional qualifications. They play a key role in developing new training and continuing education programs for the skilled trades and are responsible, among other things, for knowledge transfer at the Chamber of Skilled Trades’ training centers. They instruct apprentices as part of inter-company apprenticeship training (ÜLU) and impart specialized knowledge in the master craftsman preparation courses offered by the Aachen Chamber of Skilled Trades. In this way, QualiTec makes a significant contribution to quality assurance in continuing education within the skilled trades.

As a specialist in practical and theoretical corporate training and vocational-technical continuing education programs for clients in the skilled trades and industrial sectors, QualiTec gGmbH offers customized training and certification programs both domestically and internationally, as well as to other major organizational clients such as the German Armed Forces, the Federal Employment Agency, and Job Centers. As a subsidiary of the Aachen Chamber of Crafts, access to all of the Chamber’s resources is guaranteed. Close coordination and collaboration with all areas and departments of the Chamber of Crafts is ensured. All QualiTec employees are represented in all departments and committees of the Chamber of Crafts. This ensures that insights and developments in craft trade policy are purposefully integrated into QualiTec’s work.
